Recognized as Indy's first and only real Southern barbecue restaurant, the no-frills eatery offers lunch and dinner and serves smoked ribs, brisket, salads, chicken wings, soup, sandwiches and desserts. A full slab of South's baby back ribs costs $17.95 and children 12 years old and under can get four ribs for $5.25. Inside, the restaurant offers enough space for 200 guests and provides a casual atmosphere. Over dinner, reservations are necessary for groups.
