I like many things about this bar, i
really do. I just can't go back. The only reason i have continued to try is out of sheer disbelief the entire staff could be so terrible at all times. Every night is sullied by poor service and attitude.
Just last night:
(1) Walked up, muttered to myself, "Oh darn, I left my cash at home." The guy sitting at a table where they usually set up a cover charge cash box loudly says, "I didn't ask for any *@#$(* money, I want your ID."
(2) On the patio, someone nearby suddenly became irate and smashed a bottle on the ground and walked away. No employees saw anything, but that didn't stop them from accosting a quiet patron who was nowhere near the crazy guy. A small group of employees and several drunk patrons marched out, surrounded the innocent guy, took his brand new drink, and turned him out onto the street. He was bewildered and clearly didn't know they thought he smashed the bottle. No questions were asked of him or any witnesses, they just decided who did it implied violence if he didn't go.
It reminds me of Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia telling the gang that he truly wanted to "cultivate an atmosphere in the bar that made you feel you might get stabbed at any moment."
If the owner axed the entire staff and brought in a good team, this might be the best bar in town right now, especially with the great 'Local's Only' right next door.

thursday poker lines out the door. two hearted on draught!!! always a plus pool darts and 100 person poker tourny on thursdays! poker on tuesday also however i work. it's a blast

Editorial Review. With poker and even a tarot card reader or two, this pub serves Indy more than just quality drinks.

My favorite bar. No one has better music than The Trap + it's always free!!! They have a great menu, lots of tv's, 5 pool tables, dart boards and a very friendly staff. Best in Town!!!

Best bar in Indy. Best live music, best wings, best beef stew, great Tv's for sports, excellent staff, best prices on great drinks. What more can you ask for?

EVERYTHING A BAR SHOULD HAVE!. THE TRAP HAS ALL THE PUB GAMES AS WELL AS LOTS OF TVS FOR SPORTS VIEWING!!
