Warmed by a fireplace, plentiful outdoor deck seating on prime real estate on Broad Ripple's main drag makes "Chicks and salsa," as patrons have dubbed it, a trendy people-watching and pickup place for the young artsy crowd. Import beers and a spicy Tex-Mex menu complement conversation, TV sports and live music in a comfortably worn and rustic south-of-the-border setting. The signature margarita is a must.

I can't vouch for the Margaritas, but I have eaten here several times and have never had bad food. The salsa is nothing special, but not horrible either. I have never had stale chips and the Chimichanga I always get is pretty good. We always sit outside, great Broad Ripple location, fast service. Not the greatest Mexican restaurant, but definitely not the worst either.

We were skeptical to go too this restaurant after reading the reviews on here. However, we were pleasantly surprised. 1. Fast friendly service. 2. Great chips and salsa 3. Drink was always full. I drink a lot :-) 4. Food was very good. I would recommend giving this place a shot. Very enjoyable meal. David
