Outdoor dining, live music and sports bar with a Tex-Mex menu and lively atmosphere in Broad Ripple.. In Short Warmed by a fireplace, plentiful outdoor deck seating on prime real estate on Broad Ripple's main drag makes "Chicks and salsa," as patrons have dubbed it, a trendy people-watching and pickup place for the young artsy crowd. Import beers and a spicy Tex-Mex menu complement conversation, TV sports and live music in a comfortably worn and rustic south-of-the-border setting. The signature margarita is a must.
We four were served the weakest margharitas I've ever had--no alcohol! When we complained, the waitress was *ready* with a similarly watered-down explanation that didn't hold water. ("The ice dilutes the alcohol") Really, now? Were we born yesterday? Fire the manager and the bartender! What frauds! Is it worth hoarding alcohol to have dissatisfied customers? Is it? Who goes back to this dive? Stay far away! Food was fine but unexceptional.
this place sucks.
Has a great location..too bad the food is AWFUL, I would never go back to this place again....if you want good mexican to go Fiesta Mex on Morris Street downtown near Eli Lilly....thats mexican!!
