Shopping >The Magic Bus
Not so cool. The walls are dripping with irony. They want to be seen as an anti- corporate establishment, but are far from it. Overpriced crap, with big brother watching you the whole time! Hilarious!

Rude and unwilling to help..
Over the past 10 years I have spent approx $100 a year at Magic Bus on everything from books, grinders, pipes, urine kits, dug outs, one-hitters and papers. I bought a pipe there recently that broke when I was cleaning it after 2 weeks of use. Yes, I used a metal poker, but my point was that the glass on the $35 piece was so thin that it was like poking through a lightbulb. I went in only to ask if they'd be willing to give me a 10% discount on another piece. I would have been fine with them telling me "no", it was just an effort. What turned me off was that the guy wouldn't even hear me out. The second I said the pipe broke the guy started talking to me like I was 4 years old and wouldn't even let me explain ANYTHING. He could have at least softened it a little and said something to the effect of, "I hear ya, but I really can't do anything." Instead, he was rude and condescending. And as a result, I now go elsewhere. I also used to bring any of my friends from out of town to the Bus where they would sometimes spend $50-$100 on items. Not anymore.
I hope the crew at the Bus realizes that in an effort to save themselves 10% off a purchase from a loyal customer they instead made sure that I'll never come back. Score!!!
