Editorial Review for Union Jack Pub – by Lori Lovely
In Short
The crowd at this smaller location (the larger being on 25th Street) is more club-oriented with the Broad Ripple scene. Still, on any given Sunday, the TVs are tuned in to a race. Typical pub fare of thick burgers and beer-battered onion rings has been enhanced with the addition of veggie wrap sandwiches, stromboli, pasta and steaks. Weekends include prime rib.

Insider Tips
Save TimeIf you're in a hurry to eat on a crowded night, avoid the deep dish Chicago-style pizza, which has been known to take upwards of two hours from order to serving.

So I guess we shouldn't expect much. I thought the prices were high for what you got, quality wise, although quantity was adequate. My sandwich was pretty bland and my husband said his burger was so-so. It was not crowded when we went for an early dinner, so that wasn't a problem. I've been before when it was quite crowded on a weekend night; the wait can be a while. I don't remember the food being that bad before... maybe I should have stuck with the pizza?

The sandwiches/burgers and desserts are always good and the portions generous. Not too big, but generally less crowded than the rest of the Broad Ripple area. Definitely a recommended place to grab a casual bite. TVs are around to catch the game no matter where you sit. There is some parking behind the restaurant, but not much.
Pros: Good Food, Good Portions, Low Key
Cons: Minimal Parking
