Editorial Review for Texas Roadhouse – by Eric Grossman
In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.

As far as the steakhouse chains are concerned, Texas RH is just about the best. The steaks are good, ribs are really good and the meat just falls right off the bone. You are tempted to eat all of the rolls with that yummy cinnamon butter, but don't or you won't have room for the meal. Service is usually good and quick. If you're in somewhat of a hurry but don't want a fast food situatuation, then go here. You can phone ahead and get your name on the waiting list.
Pros: Food, Service, Phone-ahead
Cons: Loud

this one of the best steakhouses I have ever been in, service, clean(for what it is), over all everyone is polite as could be. When it comes to the food that is some of the best home cooking I have had in a long time. Sorry MOM
Pros: Inexpensive, Great food
