The Scene – Back in the mid-'80s, Bazbeaux slashed its way through the fern bars to become the first place in Indy to scatter sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts on thin-crust pizza. The concept caught on, and plenty of diners tossed back a Bartles & James on that rickety porch next to the fire station in Broad Ripple, or ordered white zinfandel by the glass inside Massachusetts Avenue's funky dining room-cum-art gallery. Love it. Great crust and flavor- The Quattro is my favorite. We often get it at work and there is never a complaint!
- Pros: Great flavor and original pizza (for Indianapolis)
- Cons: terrible parking, crowded at lunch

Nice atmosphere although it can get really crowded and noisy at times -- the price of success of and popularity. Outdoor sidewalk seating. Oh, and GOOD pizza.

We went to Bazbeaux's a few weeks ago with my girlfriends family. We were seated in just a few minutes, but felt a little crammed in to the small table they gave the six of us We got the cheese bread, and it was ok, nothing spectacular. My girlfriend and I shared the quattro formagio pizza. It had four different cheeses on it along with bacon and mushrooms. It was good, but I would have liked to have had a little less ricotta cheese on it. There were huge scoops on it and it dominated the flavor. If I go back I will definitely try something different.
- Pros: food got to table quickly
- Cons: parking
