Great food and excellent service!. I've been to this restaurant twice. Both times the food has been consistently good and the service has been great. In fact, the staff remembered us from the first time we came in. The place is clean and welcoming.

Why Go to a Restaurant Where Service is Horrible and Food is just OK?!!!. I was visiting a friend in Indianapolis and he took me to Indian Garden for lunch. For someone who loves Indian food, I was VERY disappointed with the service. Even though the food was fine; how can one enjoy the food when your server and manager were rude--- literally rude. First when we arrived, the server did not lead us to our table. He pointed to a corner table from a distance. This was after all not a big deal. During our meal, my friend dropped his fork, so he asked the server to bring him another one twice. The server deliberately ignored him. The worst came when I left for the restroom and my friend left to get dessert from the buffet bar, the server immediately cleared our table. The server again ignored my friend when he told him that we were not done. When I got out of the restroom my friend told me that our table was cleared. I was surprised by what happened and I went to the server to ask for a glass of water. He nodded and walked away without coming back. My friend paid for lunch and got me out of the restaurant. I had him describe to me what actually happened when I was in the restroom. Upset by the rude treatment, I went back to the restaurant wanting to lodge a complain to the manager. The moment I walked in, the manager tried to look away and not talk to me. Apparently, it was not just the server who was rude. The manager knew what was going on all the time. I was finally able to corner him and tell him how I felt about their service when a couple customers came to pay the food. Never was I treated so badly in a restaurant. Please support our rights as customers. Do not go to restaurant with bad service such as Indian Garden

Yummy!!!!!!. I used to frequent this restaurant at least once a week while attending university downtown. The staff remembered me and were always friendly. The food is the BEST! It has the nicest atmosphere and cleanest Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!! I visit this location every time I am in Indiana and they STILL remember me! :)

unprofessional service. I was considering this restaurant to cater Indian food for my wedding, but was treated with rude and unprofessional behavior from the manager. We scheduled a tasting for dinner, which is usually a customary offering by most caterers. Afterall, why would we choose this caterer unless we tried their food out first? After seating us at our table, the manager did not greet us for dinner, and we had to get up ourselves to speak to him and were expected to pay for our dinner. I would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE! There are much better Indian restaurants in the city.

great food. great food! nice warm feeling, great selection... very traditional! thier lunch buffet is great... and they have very prompt carry out!
