Anti-gay bakery? Shame on Just Cookies!!!. This bakery refused to place an order by a group of gay students. Apparently having a rainbow on some cookies is obscene.

What is obscene is the level of homophobia that goes on in the US in general, and the Midwest in particular. Such a behavior is unacceptable, and I am glad to see the gay community being mobilized against this sort of discrimination and homophobia.

Just Cookies? Just Terrible!. I went here a few weeks ago while I was on vacation. Terrible cookies! The cookies were burnt on the bottom and they tasted pretty dry. I decided to try some of the cookies my friend bought and they were equally terrible. As bad as the cookies were though, the service was worse! How this place stays in business I don't know. Don't be fooled -- it's not "Just Cookies" it's "Just Terrible".

IT GETS BETTER. So sad that homophobia still exists. To those of you who do not accept homosexuals in your lives I feel sorry for you. You are missing out on many great people. It's okay. I will accept your gay brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, children, friends, co-workers, leaders, teachers, husbands and wives. Remember, IT GETS BETTER!

Family Values. Thank you Dave & Lilly for standing up for your values. I highly repect you for what you have done. A small business owner has every right to employ their family Christian values and you have done so in a very respectful way.

You were my first employer ever when I was in high school many years ago. I worked for you at the store at Eastgate Mall and would do it again with pride. Thank you!

Just Cookies.... It is so sad to see this happen here in Indianapolis, where we have such a large gay population. Just Cookies may have been making the decision based on their morals, but where are their ethics? Is it right to discriminate? This business probably discriminates against gays with hiring as well.. I am very disappointed in what has happened and I am enthusiastic that the city is investigating. A “family run business”, he acts as if gays don't have families. This is not a heterosexual hate community posting these comments, these are people within the community disheartened and sadden by what has happened, with hope that we can move past it. In all honesty however, I hope that Just Cookies goes under and realizes what kind of mistake was made. Just Cookies, Just Sucks… My family and I will be going to the Flying Cupcake from here on out. Support Equality!!‎

P.S. As a side note, I have had the cookies from here, and they truly are nothing special.

Just Cookies. Way to go!! Thanks for not crumbling under a not-so-sweet issue. Your response to the cupcake request was genuine, to-the-point, and not harsh or critical.

Remember that you are not alone. Business profits all aside, you stood for what really matters. Your girls need that far more than a good profit margin.

Stay Strong. I commend you for taking a stand. It is refreshing to see someone stand up for their principles instead of caving to the pressure of the liberal thugs! I came to the site to see if you ship out of state and place an order. Your mayor may not be supportive, but you definately have supporters across the country!
