Local Beer!. I love Rock Bottom beer! All handcrafted locally and brewed on premise! It doesn't get any fresher than this...I mean...your sitting right next to the kegs! Straight up! Also try their 2 a.m. burger and white cheddar mashed potatoes! (They have two locations: College Park and Downtown)

Check out the downtown location on the Nightlights TV show's website! (episode 6)

Great Beer, Good Food. We have been to this place over 30 times in the past year (our Mug Club cards don't lie!). Can't say we've ever had a bad meal! The beer used to be awesome when I was in town last summer, but they lost their brewmaster in the last few months, and the beers have gone downhill. They are working on a getting a new brewmaster, so if you've been turned away by their beers in the past few months, don't be afraid to try again! Check for their $2 beer nights (certain beers are only $2/pint on certain nights). All varieties are $2 on Wednesdays! Many of their appetizers are discounted during happy hour (M-F before 6PM). Awesome pool room downstairs! Get a Mug Club card for fantastic rewards!

Editorial Review. Sip a pint, watch the game or catch live music in this sprawling, two-floor spot with an on-site brewery.

Hitting Rock Bottom can be good!. Rock Bottom is located in downtown Indianapolis near the Circle Center mall.

The layout and atmosphere are similar to other Rock Bottom establishments. The theme seems to be southwestern/outdoorsy, with lots of posters and pictures depicting animal life and outdoor locales.

This rock bottom has 6-7 beers in rotation at any given time, with one or 2 seasonals. They offer a sampler and very cheap growlers too.

The service here was good

We didn't try the food at this location, but the menu looked pretty much the same as the others.

Don't Expect To Be Dazzled. I'm from te Chicagoland area, my girlfriend used to work there, so I went there once. The beer selection is lame, no Guinness! The food was lame, I have had better, like at Wendy's. If I were you, I would go to Hooter's, for the view and food or BW'3 for the NTN Network and the TV's. Better food, better enviroment, and better menu selection.

Great Food. This is a must go to place if your in the Indy area. Whether you like pizza, burgers, or any other type of food you will think the Rock Bottom Brewery food is excellent. There also is a micro-brewery inside if you are interested in that as well. The atmosphere is casual but classy. Great place to go.

The Besta Pasta. You may not expect to find great pasta in a brewery, but I really liked the chicken geno-something.... Anyway, it was chicken with asiago cheese and sundried tomatoes and some sort of walnut sauce. I haven't tasted anything like it before. It was great!

Eat inside. Not sure what the appeal would be to eating outside at this establishment. You'll be watching heavy downtown traffic. If you are with co-workers I guess being outside would be ok, but forget it if you are on a date.

Rock Bottom Mug Club. An excellent assortment of great tasting brews. The extra 3oz of beer as a mug club member is worth the exsorbitent membership price...free. Marissa, aka 'Sexy', has the best smile and the sweetest eyes of any bartender/waitress this side of the Pecos. The food has been a plus, healthy portions abound.
