Great food and friendly atmosphere.
This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Indianapolis. The dining room is very casual and inviting, it's very unique (in a good way). The food is absolutely amazing. I get their
spinach ravioli most often and my boyfriend has sampled most of the menu (he never has any complaints!). Their homemade tiramisu is divine. Their homemade blue cheese salad dressing is also delicious. The bread they bring out prior to the meal is surprisingly bad, as compared to rest of the menu, but it's no prediction of the things to come, don't worry!
One thing, don't come here if you're in a rush. The food generally takes a little while and you should reserve at least an hour and a half for your meal. The staff is friendly and provide wonderful service. I saw Larry Bird there once (and he was trashed!)…
love this place.. my wife and i love this place. the have awesome food and very nice portions. wonderfully friendly staff. you never would know by looking at the outside of the building.
Great food in abundance!. This was my first visit - although the inside ambiance was inviting, we chose to sit outside. The outside seating area is definitely nothing special, although there is a nice view of downtown. The full meals come with soup, salad, bread and the entree. You can also order the entree alone. My boyfriend loves this place because it is one of the few places in town where you can get meat ravioli. I ordered the tortellini, which I thought was excellent. Our server was friendly and efficient. We spent approx $35-40, and that was drinking water only so it is not a cheap place, but definitely worth it if you are wanting a non-chain experience.…
Average price, Average place.
Well..here is my first review!
I have heard some good things about this downtown Italian restaurant so I finally tried it out. Upon arrival, I was disappointed in the atmosphere...both inside and out. However, it did have more of an authentic italian feel than most restaurants, so if you appreciate that...this would be a great place for you. The service was very good and helpful throughout the entire night.
I got the baked penne with the bolognese sauce. It is a lot of food so you can definetely split with someone. It was pretty good but I would choose another sauce next time because I didn't care for all of the meat. The people I went with got the spinach ravioli and they loved it! Overall, it was a positive experience. The food was good but I don't think I will make the drive from the northside to eat at Iaria's Italian Restaurant again.…
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Authentic Italian cuisine is served at the family run restaurant that offers catering, weekly specials and pasta dinners.
