No to party city in plainfield indiana. I recently purchased a costume from party city in Plainfield. It was a one size fits all couples costume. So I saw no reason to try it on. It was $53.97. The costume was given to me in a bag that had been previously ripped, without cardboard insert of what the costume even looked like up close. I asked if I could have one that had not been used/tried on already, the place was so busy they forgot to get back to me. Against better judgment I purchased the item anyway. I bought it on 10-25-08, the afternoon of the party I was attending. When I arrived home and opened the costume, it was so cheaply made and had been tried on so many times that the seams were unstitched, I tried to saftey pin it together so I could attend the party. But it was ruined in so many places, it was useless. I called to return the item and I was told no because it was after the 24th apparently the costume return policy ended on the 24th. I said that I did not buy it until the 25th, and the costume was ruined when I bought it. The General site manager whos name I have was very rude. She actually was couning change back to other customers while she was on the phone with me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bearu with the full details. This is not the only poorly sold costume I have bought there. But it will be the last. I would give this store no stars.
