Not good food, not fresh. Broccoli was wilted.
Wife and I are on the constant hunt for descent chinese food and were referred to this little place.
Wife ordered cashew chicken and I ordered general chicken. The sauce used on both dishes was virtually the same. The rice served with the general chicken was really (i mean really) chewy and the soft noodles were actually spaghetti (with no sauce). The chicken in both dishes was tough and dry (like it was old). Daughter (she's 8) loves egg rolls but didn't like it.
The fortune cookies were good. Spent upwards of 15 bucks for dinner and now having to find something else for dinner.
Chicken soup for the body. There is nothing like a hot steamy bowl of pho when you're feeling a little under the weather, which is exactly what brought me to Egg Roll #1. Not exactly conveniently located for north siders, but worth the trip to Beech Grove. Vegetables were fresh and the service was great! Only down side is that Egg Roll #1 shares a wall with a Goodyear store, which I could smell even with a stuffy nose.
