reservations??.
The food was great, but the management has no understanding of the term reservation! Called to make a reservation for the family room. Was told I could reserve a table but they would not guarantee the room for my party. I will definitely book my parties elsewhere as they did not even have everything set up for us to all sit together. I understand we had a large party. That is why I called a week in advance to reserve the room that I knew had a table large enough for all of us!
If you are looking for good food you will get it. If you are looking for a little class, you will have to pay more!

Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant..
In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Service.
Review: Bad:
I ordered a basic meal of Pasta, and meat balls.
The salad was wilted:
The dressing was oily to the point of a heart attack.
I am a polite person
and i overlook certain things , because i know how hard the people work
The woman that served me was a very polite and "tired" woman.
I and my friends , were very dissapointed in the quality of our meals!
The Resturant was very busy, and too busy to refill our basic needs of cola and wine.

Bland boring food.
There are much better choices in Indianapolis for Authentic Italian Food than a chain restaurant. Try Ambrosia's in Broadripple or if you HAVE to try a chain restaurant then try Macaroni Grill or Bravo Italian Kitchen. They are MUCH better than Olive Garden.

Its bulk Ameritalian.
What can I say. Its the Olive Garden. Decent, but generally crowded and noisy like a high-density feed lot. Take your kids.
