A GREAT Family Dining Experience. For 30 years or so, we've looked forward to eating at Dave's All American Pizza in Danville, (at least once a week). Dave has the "freshest salad bar...this side of Heaven"! Secret family recipes are some of the unique menu items. The atmosphere is "eclectic Patriotic" with "down home Hoosier decor". A miniature Statue of Liberty stands tall in the central dining room. A n authentic Bobby Knight manaquin will greet you at one of the booths in the I.U. / Purdue room. Dave's Place is a unique, one-of-a-kind, family owned restaurant with great service and super Hoosier hospitality, awesome food, and affordable prices. It is well worth the 30 minute drive from our home. The grandkids always want to visit Dave's Pizza when they come to visit!

Customer Service? Forget it!!!. My wife, son, daughter, mother-in-law and father-in-law all went to Dave's tonight after my daughter's basketball game. They arrived at around 8:15PM and didn't receive their food until 9:10PM. Are you telling me that it takes over an hour to prepare a couple of plates of burgers, a couple of plates of spaghetti and meatballs and a pizza?!? When my wife and mother-in-law complained to the waitress about the wait, you know what the waitress did? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! She didn't offer any apologies, nothing. And when my wife and mother-in-law bit into their meatballs, they tasted awful. Upon leaving, they told the lady at the cashier's desk about the taste of the meatballs and SHE gave them an attitude as well, saying "...there is no way that there could be anything wrong with our meatballs!".

It's a shame that a place with this wonderful of a decor (dedicated to many things from Indiana, as well as veterans) has such awful customer service. Dave, if you're reading this, you may want to pay more attention to what your customer's are saying, and less to what you're employees are.
