I have been going to Mars and Venus for 6 years and needless to say I LOVE IT! I look forward to my hair appointment every 8 weeks...just thinking about the neck/back/arm massage before I get my cut gives me tingles haha! They do a fantastic job of not only cutting my hair, the environment itself is so relaxing and warm that you just feel at ease when you sit in the chair. The whole experience is just wonderful....I am always greeted by kind staff in the front, and almost always my hair stylist is ready for me immediately, but if not they offer me a beverage and direct me to the super comfy couches near the spa area in the back. After the hair cut and complementary neck/upper back/arm massage I go to pay for my service. The prices are GREAT!!! For the service you are getting, it is the most reasonable I have ever paid! And the great part is THEY DONT ACCEPT TIPS! Like, I try to just slip some money for my stylist, but they won't take it....they say that a recommendation is the best tip you can give..so i guess that's why i'm writing so much because I have 6 years of tips to make up for :P haha! All in all, I would highly suggest mars and venus salon and day spa!

Mars Venus Accomodating. I was looking for a spa package for my husband and I. To my surprise, unless you are willing to drop over $400 there aren't many packages and a lot of Salon/Spas I called weren't willing to deal on a 2 for 1. We were tired of cookie cutter massages so I went on the hunt. I reviewed the Angie's List 2011 winners and Mars Venus was in the top 10. I emailed the salon to ask about the Cupid's Couples package and to see if I could substitute some of the items that would better suite us. The gal who called me back was more than accommodating. Instead of champagne and chocolates (we don't care for those) we are having beer and cheese. I was also told I can call back with any other request/accommodations which really makes me feel like this will be our experience, not just a $60 massage and a snack. The price for the package is more than reasonable if you do your due diligence and shop around. I'm looking forward to our day of relaxation. If the massages are as great as the customer service, we will be back!

Fantastic Service. I've been to Mars Venus several times in the last six months for several different services. I've been in for a highlight, cut, manicure and pedicure. Each one has been wonderful. The staff is always friendly and I've always been thrilled with the complete outcome. My hair is a bit testy with color and they have nailed it!

They have won my loyalty.

Horrible Customer Service Plus Police Escort. Prepaid for a service that was never provided. Tried for over a month with no satisfaction. Even with their "100% money back guarantee". But when asking for a refund, owner was rude and called cops to have me escorted off the property. Still no refund, or service. Out over $100. Just remember if you ever visit for a service, don't forget to ask for the complementary Police Escort. So please beware. Just ask around and read other reviews before you spend your money.

Good and Bad. Where do I start....

When I pulled up from the outside I never would have thought it was elegant on the inside. When I got to the door I was greeted and the door was opened for me. A+

Was asked if my jacket could be hung up and if I wanted a refreshment. A+

While I was waiting and it starts to go down hill from here... I was walking around and over heard a few of the employee's complaining. It made me want to get up and really look at the atmosphere. Once I took a good look around and really looked ... the staff looked like they were on edge a few of them looked exhausted.

During my service the conversation was ok at first then the service provider began to gossip about some of the staff. I found that very unprofessional. I go to my next service and again the same thing. So I started to think ok it looks good but just because it looks good it may just not be good for me.

At checkout I was bombarded with products and felt pushed to get pre-booked.

I for one love Aveda products and the normal experience I get at other Aveda concept locations. Was not impressed with this location as far as service. I did like the spa area except for being able to hear the washer and dryer and closing of doors.

I agree with some of the good and bad reviews the Aveda experience was not what you would receive at a high end Aveda location. So I guess with this salon it is what you make it and what you expect. This location still has a long way to go to get a truly earned 5 star. A+ for some of the added touches like opening the door, allowing me to sit while you checked me in etc... D- for some of the conversation. B- for attempting to do what is expected at an Aveda concept location... the salon & spa experience but the staff as a whole needs to perfect it.

This location has good and bad just need more consistency.... Oh and an fyi if you don't like loud music the salon experience is not a good one or one I recommend the music was very loud and at times the music selection was questionable.

For the whole family. Mars and Venus is a very nice salon. The salon is very clean. All of the employees are very nice. I take the whole family there. I like that they do kids cuts at a very reasonable price, and that you can walk in and usually always get right in. Would recommend this as a place to go and at least try.

Even for a man. I'm not really the "salon" type - my wife talked me into going here. But have to say, the service is great! But my wife likes the "girly pampering" a lot!

Another wonderful experience. I love coming to Mars Venus Salon. They just know how to treat their clients and give a little extra pampering. Best hair washing ever, a make up touch up, and of course a fabulous cut and style. And try the Aveda Volumizing Tonic. it really works!!!

Best Promos and Massages, Very Convenient!. You can save money with the great promos and the hours are convenient! The have the best massages in town!
