The BEST Scallops in Indy.
Sure, they have great steaks, and amazing Amish Chicken, but I can't stop ordering the Scallops!!! Always the best service as well. Before we had a baby, it was our once-a-week addiction. We'll be back on that schedule soon!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT.
My wife and I have eaten at Peterson's several times and each visit just gets better. The waitstaff is incredible and the service has always been FANTASTIC. We love that there is an age restriction so that there are no screaming, ill-mannered children, so prevalent at other "fine dining" places, to interrupt our meal. The ambiance is great.
My wife always gets the fillet, and more often than not, I get whatever the chef's recommendation is. The last time it was Pork Medallions cooked medium. PHENOMENAL!!!!
I recommend Peterson's to anyone looking to have a romantic night out for 2, or a get-together of old friends. Eat here and you won't be disappointed!

Great steaks and great service.
The steaks are terrific, especially their aged signature steak. The bartenders poor as all should. Best lobster bisque in town!

The BEST Filet in Town!!.
My husband and I dined here for his birthday and it was the second best meal we have had in a restaurant (second only to The Origianl Fishmarket in Pittsburgh, PA). The food was fantastic and prepared precisely to orders, the service was wonderful and attentive and the atmosphere was extremely conducive to enjoying a romatic night out or an lively dinner with friends. I would highly recommend Peterson's to anyone wanting a dining experience worthy of any big city upscale restaurant.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
My friend and I spent last weekend in INDY and dined at St. Elmo's and Peterson's. You are ten times better than St. Elmo's in food and Service. Your servers (Tim and Amy) were very professional and yet added fun. The Food was excellent and I will highly recommend Peterson's to anyone coming to Indy as well as anyone visiting from Fort Wayne. We were not rushed and able to enjoy feeling that every amount of money spent was well worth it. We can't wait to return.

Local beefhouse with upscale New York feel..
The Scene
Chic enough for a Banana Republic catalog shoot, this upscale steakhouse on the Far Northside boasts a beautiful backdrop of cherry paneling with soft metal trim and textured glass. The trendier-than-thou mood is enhanced by whisper-quiet servers, who wear smocks like cosmetic-counter workers and ask if you prefer spring, sparkling or tap water.
The Food
Outstanding, delightful proof that there's substance to all the style. Signature entrees include an 8-ounce petite filet and an exceptional veal porterhouse; all meats are served in a pool of veal au jus, a special touch that sets Peterson's apart from others in its beefy business. Occasionally, the restaurant offers dry-aged blackened prime rib, an intensely flavored rarity in this wet-aged town. Seafood dishes are also highly recommendable. For dessert, order a hulking wedge of German chocolate cake and enough forks for everyone at the table.
