. They're the first and only senior living community I've seen with a chronic kidney disease program on-site at their location. This was the selling point for me an my mom, who has CKD and high blood pressure.

Very Happy with Carmel Health & Living. My father was admitted to Carmel Rehab in July 2011

and was transferred to Carmel Health and Living into long term care thru Dec 2011. We were very happy with the care, clean environment, compassion and professionalism that was provided for my father. We felt guided and were treated like family. We were very happy with Carmel Health and observed that all patients were treated with outstanding care. Staff went beyond the normal care requirements to fulfil patient needs.

For my dad. The care coordinator, nursing staff, OT and Pt's were organized and attentive. Communication was always readily available and weekly staff meetings helped keep my large family informed and working in the same direction with my dads continued care. The professionalism, genuine concern and strength provided was immeasurable.

Very comfortable setting and ecouragement for family involvement made it an ease for our daily visits. The food was not much to be desired, however home cooked was welcome in:) Thank you again for all of your caring hands.

Beware. This facility is understaffed and most of the staff there is treated poorly and it reflects in the care.

Sure, it may look nice on the outside, but behind it is an unorganized, untrained staff.

Everyone that works there is miserable and the mistakes that occur there are unimaginable.

Please send a message to this facility that you will not put your loved one there until they clean up their facility!!!!

WE LOVED CARMEL CARE CENTER!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I had my father at Carmel Care Center twice for rehab. The first time was for a hip replacement and the second a stroke. My father both times staying at Carmel Care Center fully recovered thanks to the therapists and nursing staff. They treat you like family and are always there to help you out with any questions. i would highly recommend this facility to anyone!

Be Careful - Think Twice before admitting your loved one. PLEASE be very careful before you admit your loved one here for rehab - a LOT of the personnel is very unprofessional in the way they will treat and speak to your loved one. Be prepared to spend a LOT of time over seeing your loved one. The therapists are GREAT. Just think twice thats all.
