Expensive. I found this store to be way over priced. I can buy strings at another store in Castleton for $5.79. This store charged me twice the price for the same exact set. When I mentioned how expensive they were and showed them the price sticker and strings from the other store, I was given some interesting excuses and justifications. I really thought the one about buying a whole box of strings could bring the cost down to almost 50% in some cases a laugh. Why would I buy a whole box of strings to get half off when I can just as easily stop by the other store in just pick up one as I need them? I really don't care if you have a load of professionals who shop at your store. I'm glad they have the money to do so, but we do not. I have no intention of throwing my money away to a store that is overcharging their customers so abundantly.
A little harsh don't ya think? You make that statement based on one item? Every store has what they call "loss leader items" to get you into the store with the hope of buying other things while you are there. That's why you will see some guitar strings at half price.
Awsome. This is one of the best music stores I've been to. It is a little on the small side, but it is full of quality people who truley care about you and your musical needs. They have every thing from drum sets to picks, and if they dont have what you need they can always order it from one of their magazines. I am a guitar player myself, and I would say that they have a reasonable amount of guitars and amps. They have Gibson, Fender, and lots of other all american brands. They also have lessons that they offer to take. These guys have everything.
