1950s diner fries up fast-food classics 24 hours a day.. In Short
Entering the clean, bright interior is like stepping into an "Archie" comic book. Hurrying across white- and black-checkered floors, staff in crisp white shirts and paper hats take orders, polish chrome and shuffle between booths and the full-service counter. Middle-American diner standards dominate the menu--pickle-covered steak burgers, chili cheeseburgers and thick shakes. Healthier options include chicken, chef and taco salads.

WORST SERVICE& OVER PRICED. OVER PRICED FOR SURE.FOOD& SERVICE IS THE WORST IN CARMEL.DONT KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS!! DRIVE THRU IS AWFUL IN CARMEL & FOOD IS GROSS!!

Best of the Best. I have been an avid burger lover for nearly 35 years and without a doubt I believe that Steak & Shake has the market cornered on burgers. Always fresh, real meat and grilled to perfection. The people associated with Steak & Shake all seem to be genuinely friendly, customer oriented and happy in the service they provide. When you add good service to excellent food..this makes it a great fast food restaurant. I have eaten at many locations in Indianapolis and always found the same great burgers with outstanding service.

Gimme More!. The only problem with this restaurant is that there is only one in Anderson. It's clean, friendly and fun. Great food. Great people. This is not a fast food joint - it's a good food joint!
