Editorial Review for Blu Martini – by Christopher Raymond

In Short
A full-service sushi and martini bar catering to city's high-end clientele, Blu Martini offers an elegant upscale environment for fine dining and drinking. Plastic chairs shaped like martini glasses line the sleek bar, while aqua blue tables and unique light designs add a touch of class to the dining room. Choose from ten specialty martinis that are mixed with only the finest premium liquors or order a glass of wine from the extensive, but well-chosen list.

User Reviews for Blu Martini

2 Star Rating: Below Average

The Blu Martini seems to cater to a very particular clientèle, one that I do not believe I fit into. The atmosphere seems to be like every bar on "Se x in the City." Pretentious, trendy, and overpriced. The editiorial review boasts "the finest premium liquors," they are premium only in price. Most of the martinis on the menu are made with Smirnoff. Don't worry though, they will charge you Stoli prices. Actually, next door I had a martini made with Stoli and it was a dollar cheaper! The atmosphere is trendy and loud. There is house music blaring, yet no dancing. If you want to "be seen" the Blu Martini is the place to be. Otherwise, try another bar.

Pros: Drinks are good, servers do their best with the music

Cons: Expensive, loud

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

Inadequate space, inadequate quality of servers, poor event planning. Better bars in walking distance.

Pros: parking

Cons: service
