Depends on What U are looking for. If you are in the market for average food at high prices, given the quality. If you like really loud noisy eating establishments. If incredibly slow service (polite enough, just incredibly slow--31/2 hours to get through lunch, starting with a 45 minute wait for a table). If you like to sit in an environment with people texting others and not talking to each other. If you like lunch with more than a full day's worth of calories. If you like cheese cake at 1,000 calories a slice. Then, you will really love this place. Sucks for me though.
lots of empty seats had to wait.
I've been going to this place for over 6 years because of quality of food. But I must say their service declined a great deal.
Prices aren't cheap, a smoothie cost $7.00. We went on regular weekday before even 4 p.m. and we were told to wait because all empty tables were saved to seat 6 and there were 3 of us. We really did not like it. Then she seated us at 6 persons table anyway.
Another time I came during weekday with my 7-year-old son and after waiter gave us menu, he was doing friendly chatting with another rable and we waited 30 minutes for our drinks! Then he brought us food, never came to ask if everything was allrgight, never offered to refill my son's drink nor my ice tea, then we waited another 30min for him just to bring us check. It was horrible experience.
Now their music plays so loud I can barely hear my friends. I am very dissapointed in their service decline, loud horrible choice of music and very long wait time and rude waitresses.
Loud, Unconfortable seating arrangements and managers who don' t care.
Worst dining experience. its quieter and nicer at mcdonalds. I went in at lunch with my wife and was seated in a row of tables that had a long bench seat for the one side of all the tables . the tables were crammed together for maximum profit, but not for diners comfort. They were only 12-14 inches apart and you could not have a private conversation. This last table was also right next to the kitchen and dish handling area. Which added a whole other level of loud noise. between all the diners trying to talk loud enough to be heard over the kitchen noise you gave up on having a conversation.
When brought to the managers attention it was ' sorry'. Well in this economy they will be sorry because I will spread the word. There should never be a bad spot in a restaurant like that for the money they want.
Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain..
In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.
Great menu & service. Got seated right away on a Friday night by arriving at 5:30 p.m. Service is excellent. Refills arrived promptly. Something for everyone on the menu.
Worth the Wait!. On a saturday afternoon, expect to wait 45minutes for a table (or longer)!!! The wait would be much more enjoyable if the seating alert system worked throughout the mall. Then everyone wouldn't have to crowd in the already tiny waiting area!!! This was my second visit and each time the food has been WONDERFUL (Suggestions: Parmesan and Romano Crusting Chicken, and the St. Louis Pasta Dish)!!! The desert is also wonderful!!! The service is average. If it weren't for the great food we would probably not go there, but the food is that good!!!
not just cheescake. My husban and I went here, i thought it was only going to be cheesecakes to eat! The waiter was great, the food was WOW! It really filled us up and then some! the colors in the place were soothing and intimate. the food was flavorful, and although it is located in a mall, it was quiet. we are going back this week end on a "date".
Do not book for birthdays. Once I planned a birthday party for a friend and told people to meet around 6-6:30 at the cheesecake factory. I invited over 20 people.Everyone did not show up at the same time. We were not allowed to sit down at a table until every last person arrived. This was ridiculous and ruined the whole party. One person was elderly and had to wait also no seat was offered to him until everyone arrived. I will never ever have a party of more than one again at the Cheesecake factory. Very poor service.
Tried it twice, won't be back. First visit, we were there for 3 hours. And not because we were enjoying ourselves. After horrid service and no refills on sodas, the best they could offer was a BROWNIE. Second visit, different town. It was just noisy and overpriced.
The best!.
Best food in the city in my opinion. Try the Big Five pizza (if youre not too hungry, share it with a friend) but leave room for dessert. The triple chocolate mousse cake is probably the best buy for your money, you get even more of it than you can get of any single piece of cheesecake!
a little expensive, but if you share with a friend, it is worth it
