Staff is fantastic. Always friendly and the cook staff always gets the meal done right. Never had a bad experience there.
GOOD SERVICE- TOO MUCH SPICE. Generally food was very good and well presented. Service was excellent . I ordered pepper steak and it was so spicy hot it needed to be returned (I eat lots of VERY spicy food) .Management was very helpful and replaced dish with a different dish of my choosing. I will go again
This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites..
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.
excellent food, need more help.
Their food was excellent, and I have eaten there several times. My reccomendations, the lettuce wraps, the eggplant, and the orange shrimp.
my other reccomendations, do not go from 11-2 during the week, it is always packed, and prepare for slow servce, lets just say that i go solely for the food, not the atmosphere.
Better than I expected.
If you're used to the intense and exotic flavors of hole-in-the-wall Chinese dives, you may find P.F. Chang's a little boring. It's a middle-of-the-road chain catering to less adventurous taste buds. But the tradeoff is a reasonably pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, and the food wasn't bad at all.
In fact, the vegetable dumplings were quite tasty, as was the dipping sauce. The snap pea pods were perfectly crunchy and delicious, and the mixed vegetable dish we ordered was very good, also.
One perk of enjoying Chinese food in this establishment: wine with dinner. The wine selection is relatively broad, and the one I tried (a Chardonnay-Pinot Grigio blend) was enjoyable and a nice complement to the flavors of the food.
A note on parking: This location may present challenges as it is downtown, and no valet service is offered. However, nearby mall parking may provide a good alternative.
