Best sushi restaurant in town. Reasonable prices, incredible food, great service, excellent atmosphere. Hisago is the best sushi restaurant in Indianapolis.

Exceptional and creative suishi, great service!. I have been going to Hisago since 2002. Though I have seen the place through two owners (and Master Sushi chefs), the food, menu and service remain exceptional. The owner is very helpful with ideas and things to try.

A few possibilities for improvements lie in my following pet peeve -- which seems common at laces where sushi is offere:. There is no written description for the incredible "Special Rolls" that are available. These are in addition to the classics, and others (like "Hoosier Roll", or "Philly Roll").

I usually do take-out sushi, as I drive a long way to Hisago, and always try to go there if I happen to be near. Therefore, I call in an order, and can not tell fom my takeout menu what is in the many special rolls that I've tried and loved. Since the staff are not all fluent in English, it can be difficult to understand them, over the phone, and it's embarrassing to ask them to go over each and every roll I can't recall the ingredients of. So -- a complete sushi listing with description would be greatly appreciated.

Even better? a web site. I could go there and see fo myself what the specials are and order "off menu", if I knew what I was ordering.

You gotta try this place. Freshness and presentation are second to none. The Oshizushi and Missy rolls are terrific. Don't miss the addictive Hisago roll. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Personal plea: Bring back the "Triple Delight Roll"? <smiles>

Best sushi ever!!!!. Special maki that they have is the best we ever tried. We have been in many Japanese restaurant, this is one of the best for the sushi. The presentation is great too. Very satisfied. We will go back again to try all of the special maki that they have.
