Awful experience. Go elsewhere for spa services. Their staff is inhospitable, their customer service is anything but customer focused, and they charge for services they do not perform.
Owner is worst person I've ever met!. This Inn, Restaurant, and Spa is such a wonderful place. It's a shame the owner is a no good, lieing, rude, heartless, cold women. I used to work for her and as I loved what I did there, she treated me and everyone else as if we were dirt under her shoes. We always had to work on her and her family for free..even if we had an appointment, she would change it to someone else. Not only did she not TIP for her FREE service, she wouldnt even say thank you. She would make us work when ever it was convenient for her and what ever pay she would feel like giving that day. Multiple times she has yelled at me and threatened me. The worst is she treats her parents, employees, and customers all the same. Once again, I loved my job, but HATED JENEANE LIFE. My stomach turns everytime I hear that name!!
Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!
Had a great time.. Stayed Friday night for 2011 Valentines weekend. Everything was great . We had a wonderful dinner at the Inn. We plan to return again.
Avoid this spa with poor customer service and policies. While the Villa is a beautiful location, I have never been so perturbed and amazed by poor customer service and unfriendly policies. Two weeks ago, I went for a spa package given to me by my husband for our anniversary. At the time, the cosmetologist burnt the skin off my face while waxing it. After dropping over $400 between products and services, I decided (against my initial hesitation) to try the really interesting sounding no chip manicure. Unfortunately, we had a significantly larger storm in Indianapolis than predicted and I tried to cancel my appointment about 50 minutes prior. Their policy is without a full 24 hours notice or a travel advisory, they charge you the full fee. The owner was rude, didn't care about the fact that her cosmetologist burnt my face two weeks, or the fact that just spent money. Ms. Life, good luck maintaining long term clients, within two minutes of a facebook posting that your policies were poor, two of my friends commented that they to had stopped patronizing your spa for the same reasons. Off to the Better Business Bureau next. In the meantime, Ms. Life might want to get an MBA and look at the long term value of repeat business versus a one time fee.
DO NOT UTILIZE VILLA SPA. I have an appointment today at Villa Spa on Delaware for a massage, pedicure and body wrap. However, the weather is bad! The National Weather Service Bureau has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Indianapolis and Brownsburg. However, they refuse to allow me to cancel my appointment. I understand their policy but the roads are hazardous. So I am supposed to jeaporadize my life so they can have a sale. Not only that but Jeanine (the owner) have been very rude to me. She hung up on me twice. So now I am not even feeling it. I wouldn't recommend Villa Spa to my cat and I don't even have one. They are more concerned about a sale as opposed to my safety.
Crazy Owner!. I cannot express how weird and mean this woman was. Mean as a snake would be the perfect way to describe it. I seriously witnessed this woman charge a bridal party over $140 for a cheese cake! Apparently the girls liked it so much that they ate the whole cake and the owner divied up the cost per slice! She actually told her employee's behind the front desk break the bad news and they looked terribly uncomfortable and kept whispering "We're so sorry!" to this poor woman, while the owner went off somewhere to hide. I just sat in the background with wide-eyes and eventually walked out.
I went to the Villa for dinner the other night with some friends and was surprised by getting such a deal! Apparently, on thursday nights there is a "work week wine down" which includes wine samplings and a chair massage! Since we were coming in for dinner anyway this was completely FREE. My friends and I were very happy about getting an unexpected chair massage and wine before our dinner! What a treat!
Dinner was also fabulous. I had an amazing pasta dish and we were all very pleased with the service and manager that led the wine sampling.
My husband recently purchased a gift certificate to The Villa Spa. I was a little hesitant to go after reading the reviews I found online. Knowing that my husband had spent the money already I decided to call and make an appointment.
I made an appointment to get a manicure and pedicure as I felt that if my services were not good, i could just remove the polish, with a plan on hand I showed up to my appointment.
The building is just amazing both from the inside and the outside. It really does look like a little castle in the middle of Indy. I checked in at their front desk and the people that took care of me were super sweet. I did not want to let my guard down as I was worried about the quality of my services.
I was taken to the lower level of the building and things just got better and better, I believe that the name of my person was Malia. Everything was amazing, she did an excellent job with both my manicure and pedicure. I will have to say that the only thing that I did not like about her was that her breath smelled like smoke. This is a problem for me as I am very sensitive to smells as strong as smoke.
By the time I went to check out I was so pleased all I could do was smiled as my husband picked me up. I told my husband my entire experience and I just felt a need to write it somewhere, as I feel like people are writing things that are not truthful.
I am happy to say that I am looking forward to my next visit to The Villa

Wonderful Experience. I just wanted to take a moment and thank the staff. My fiancee came in this weekend for a manicure and pedicure and had nothing but the highest praises regarding the services she received. She was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and was very happy that I set up her appointment there. I'm very happy I set her appointment there as well. We were both incredibly happy on a day that we will both remember for the rest of our lives... the day that I proposed to her.
