Overview
This enormous network of rivers, trails and streams brings hikers, bikers, runners and bladers together for outdoor excitement. The greenways total more than 175 miles of fresh air.
Features
Monon Trail, a former rail corridor, begins at 96th Street and threads its way 7.5 miles south to Fall Creek Trail. The Monon Trail also connects to downtown's Central Canal Towpath in the Broad Ripple neighborhood. This limestone trail meanders past Butler University and the Indianapolis Museum of Art and connects to the White River Wapahini Trail.
